Warranty on Products

Vices adheres to the guidelines set out by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for Refunds, Replacements, and Warranty Returns. Our warranty policy does not replace, but acts alongside, your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law. For more information please visit https://www.accc.gov.au/.

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind.

Our goods come with a warranty under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. What constitutes a major failure will vary depending on the product and circumstances. Vices does not perform repairs on faulty/damaged products.

The following exclusions apply to the warranty:

  • Consumables do not come with a warranty for safety reasons.
  • The warranty does not cover misuse, deliberate/accidental damage, or damages caused by wear and tear.
  • The warranty does not cover merchandise failure or damage caused due to improper use.
  • The warranty does not cover damage as a result of excessive force such as dropping.
  • The warranty does not cover damage as a result of usage outside of recommended usage conditions.
  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use of water or other liquids.
  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by a failure to properly maintain or clean the product.
  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by user error.

If you believe that your product is damaged or faulty, contact us at ozvices@gmail.com and provide us with the following information:

  • Your Order Number.
  • A description of the damage/fault you are experiencing.
  • Photos or videos of the damage/fault.

We will review the information provided to us. If it is appropriate to initiate the warranty process, the following process will apply:

  • We will provide you with a prepaid postage label for you to return the damaged/faulty device to us. 
  • You will need to post the product back to us including all parts and accessories that came with the product.
  • We will then test and inspect the product to determine the cause of the issue. This process may take between 1 to 4 weeks depending on the product as we may need to liaise with the manufacturer of the product during our investigations.
  • We will then provide you with a response. If the product was damaged on arrival or has a manufacturers fault and is subject to the warranty, we will arrange for either a replacement, store credit or a refund on a case by case basis. 
  • If we are unable to identify a fault or the product has been damaged as a result of user error or is otherwise excluded from the warranty for the reasons mentioned above, we will return the product to you.

All decisions on warranty inspections are final. We will provide reasons for our decision and an explanation for our conclusions.
