The JoyStik is a stainless steel, battery-free, butane thermal extraction device. Built like a legendary controller - easy to pick up, impossible to put down.

The Specs

Simple design, high level performance.

  • The JoyStik

    The JoyStik is made from high quality stainless steel which maximises heat retention. It is encased in a black silicone band to create a "safe-to-touch" zone whilst in use.

  • The Tip

    The tip houses the bowl and the JoyCap. The words "JoyStik" are inscribed on an adjustable airflow and a ring of octagons encircles the heating zone.

  • The Stem

    The stem connects the tip with the ergonomically designed mouthpiece. Housing the cooling chamber and a second adjustable airflow.

  • The Cooling Orbs

    The internal glass chamber is packed with five glass cooling orbs that create a glass air path which purifies and cools the vapour before it reaches your lips for a clean, smooth, hit every time.

  • The Balls

    Designed to produce a dense output, the JoyCap houses 3mm Ruby Corundum balls behind a removable stainless steel screen. The balls are heated with a butane torch or induction heater to vaporise the material.

  • The Bowl

    The stainless steel bowl is lined with a stainless steel mesh screen and can fit up to approximately 0.25grams of material. Two replacement screens are provided with the kit.

  • Fill

    Unscrew the cap to expose the bowl and load up your material. Be careful not to overpack your bowl to ensure good airflow. Once filled, screw back onto the stem.

  • Heat - Butane Torch

    Holding the JoyStik by the silicone band, heat the cap by placing the tip of flame of your butane torch on the cap. You want to aim the flame on an upward angle just above the ring of octagons, positioned approximately 1cm away. You will hear an audible 'click' when the JoyStik has reached temperature.

  • Heat - Induction Heater

    Turn on your induction heater. Place the JoyStik into the induction heater's heating element cap first. Allow JoyStik to heat until you hear the audible 'click'. Each brand of induction heater will differ in terms of how deep to insert the JoyStik and how long to leave it in there.

Once it has reached temperature, breath in and take a hit!

Reset Guide

Treat 'em mean, keep 'em clean.

  • Disassemble

    Disassemble the JoyStik by removing each of the individual parts. The balls may be removed using a screw driver. Please ensure that the JoyStik has cooled down completely before attempting to disassemble.

  • ISO Wash

    Place the parts of the JoyStik (excluding the silicone and the cap) in isopropyl alcohol or similar cleaning solution to soak for 15-30minutes. If you have removed the balls from the cap, they may be placed into the cleaning solution separately. Use a cotton swab or brush to remove any buildup. To clean the cap, wipe the cap out with a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of ISO.

  • Rinse & Dry

    Once clean, rinse the parts of the JoyStik (excluding the cap) in warm water and leave to dry completely. Once dry, reassemble the JoyStik for use. We recommend regularly cleaning your JoyStik to avoid buildup.

  • Reassemble

    After cleaning, reassemble the JoyStik ready for your next hit!

The JoyStik is compatible with both 10mm and 14mm Rigs using the adjustable silicone band. With the black silicone band in place the mouthpiece fits nice and snug into a 14mm joint, remove the black silicone band to insert the mouthpiece into a 10mm joint.
